Create your own formula for being your best at work

The  world of work is becoming more volatile, unpredictable, complex and ambiguous due to globalisation and the advance in technology.  To do well in this environment evidence shows that it is becoming even more important to develop inner stability and the ability to generate new ideas and be flexible.  To do this you need time out to pause and think.

I am an ICF accredited coach and NLP practioner, and have been coaching leaders in a range of roles for the last 10 years on topics such as leadership skills, work/life balance, life transitions, career progression, communication skills, being authentic, identifying strengths to name a few.   I am passionate about unlocking potential through creativity and I thrive on helping people to discover their talent and exploring what enables them to perform at their best by focusing on strengths.   I use creative tools  like pictures, word association and stories to unlock ideas and help people become unstuck.  My style is very much non-directive but challenging in a supportive way.  Being coached by me is a journey where you will discover more about who you are and what you want in life.

"As coaches it is surely our remit to help our clients fall back in love with their work, to find their sense of meaning and value in what they contribute to their workplace, their sense of purpose."  Hetty Einzig - The Future of Coaching

How does it work

The first session is free and is an opportunity to clarify what you want from the coaching and design how we best work together.    After that, should you wish to go ahead, you will have a programme of up to 6 sessions with you deciding what elements you want to focus on.  I work with clients face to face, on the phone and on line in the UK and Internationally.

What you can use coaching for?

Coaching is for anyone, who wants to identify their strengths, clarify their direction and discover how they can be their best at what they do.

Some of the topics that clients explore include for example:

  • How can I have more impact at work?

  • How can I have more effective relationships at work?

  • How can I balance work and home life?

  • How can I bring out the best in my team?

  • How can I be more authentic?

  • How can I effectively manage my transition?

Most people see it as a valuable investment in themselves which gives them time to think and reflect and plan a strategy for success with help through the process.

I found Ruth’s warmth created a safe environment to address issues that were current and important to me. And in every session she would make an observation that created a step change for me or stopped me in my tracks because it created some really helpful awareness.
